The Trustees continue to progress the Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) equalisation project, which is a complex exercise expected to take some time to complete. As part of this work, the Trustees are reviewing whether any adjustments are required to members’ benefits (both current members and any ex-members, including those who transferred out their benefits) to address the unequal effects of GMP. For members where an adjustment is due, any resulting impact is expected to be relatively modest and affected members will be contacted directly by the Trustees. Members do not need to take any action at this stage. If you have any questions about GMP equalisation or your Scheme benefits, please contact the Scheme administrator.
